I just watched the first season. I enjoyed it. I enjoy the medical cases more than the romantic side stories but all in all good show. I'm putting a hold on season 2.

Grey’s Anatomy is an emotional medical drama, following the main character Meredith Grey. She slowly falls for a fellow surgeon named Derek Shepherd. Based in the Seattle Grace hospital, she has to go through emotional and exhausting drama while being a surgeon in training. Her best friend Cristina Yang supports her throughout everything and is her ‘person’. Meredith is the daughter of the very well-known famous surgeon Ellis Grey. Watching the first season was pleasant and fun. The series premiered on ABC on March 27, 2005. Since then, it’s been extremely popular. I actually didn’t know this until recently, but originally the show was going to be named Complications. That changed to Grey’s Anatomy, which is a play on words from a human anatomy textbook written by Henry Gray. I would recommend anyone to watch this who enjoys medical dramas or who just like drama In general. The show can also be funny at times! 5/5 stars

Excellent insight of hospital routine life, just some DVDs should be replaced because of the scratches.

If you are looking for a comparison with ER and Grey's Anatomy, both are great shows in different ways. Grey's Anatomy is less of a medical show and more a relationship focus, ER is the reverse.

ER was better for medical drama, Grey's is better for relationship drama.

Both great in their own ways.

Well, I'm three episodes in to this show and I don't hate it. It doesn't have the serious drama of "ER" but that's okay. It could never be "ER" and it isn't. But, it can still be good in it's own way. So far, so good.
