This series is BY FAR the best part of the New 52 reboot. The story of what happened on Earth-2 has ramifications on the main DC universe and allows readers to explore a brand new universe where anything is possible. There are many familiar characters but they've all been given a clean reboot making it much less confusing than the other titles which still haven't explained which bits of "old" continuity they've kept and which they've done away with. Highly recommended for fans of super hero stories who want to try something new.

I'm really enjoying the new 52 story arc and characters, but I do not care for this copy of the new 52 Justice League/Swampthing and Animal Man story arcs that not only changes it completely but also takes some similarities just to make you scratch your head/confuse you. The characters are expendable completely and also they have little character themselves. The art is decent at times. Not a good title from the New 52.

Not a lot to say about this one. It's another reboot but it's a good and fun read.

Another of the New 52 reboots, this one takes place in another reality, and re-establishes the Justice Society, in a manner of speaking. Years after the greatest heroes sacrificed themselves to save the world, a new group of heroes face another threat. The art is very good... it's a shame the premise doesn't work as well. Before the reboot, the Justice Society were the original heroes, the example to all who followed. This group are much, much younger, and some of them are radically different from what they were beforehand. Removing that quality of the hero as mentor that the premise once held is a hindrance, but the entire idea of the larger DC reboot was a pointless decision to begin with.
