Lee Harvey Oswald and the Assassination of JFK

The assassination of John F. Kennedy on November 22, 1963, continues to inspire interest ranging from well-meaning speculation to bizarre conspiracy theories and controversial filmmaking. But in this landmark book, reissued with a new afterword for the 40th anniversary of the assassination, Gerald Posner examines all of the available evidence and reaches the only possible conclusion: Lee Harvey Oswald acted alone. There was no second gunman on the grassy knoll. The CIA was not involved. And although more than four million pages of documents have been released since Posner first made his case, they have served only to corroborate his findings. Case Closed remains the classic account against which all books about JFK's death must be measured.

The great writing and information that Mr. Posner provides and explains thouroughly investigates the physics and conspiracies behind the JFK Assasination. The first 250+ pages give you history and important contextualization about Lee Harvey Oswald based on testimonies and written facts proven by corroboration and reliability. This is by far the most researched and unbiased book about the JFK Assasination. I reccomend it for all in search for an interesting and factual read.

Finally puts to rest all the ridiculous conspiracy theories by hysterical "authors" trying to make a buck on the assassination of JFK. Posner methodically and thoroughly takes apart every lunatic theory. Oswald acted alone, and here's the evidence.

Greatly enjoyed this book. It gives those of us too young, or who weren't around a sense of just what happened during the time of the Kennedy assassination - quite a chaotic and difficult time. It delves into just who Lee Harvey Oswald was, his background, his motives, and his movements before and after the shootings. It also discusses in a similar fashion, Jack Ruby. It shows just how difficult it would be if the assassination was indeed a conspiracy.
