Joe March has just graduated and is on top of the world, but his life implodes when he starts to suffer the symptoms of bipolar disorder. Soon after, his mother kills a man she's never met. I liked this at the start but it just went on too long. Although I wanted to see how the author ended the tale, I had to force myself to finish it.
It would have made a much better novella of shorter length, although the 2 page chapters were short enough anyway. It was interesting to those living in the Seattle area for its 90s references, but I wouldn't recommend it.
