Although this children's non-fiction book is geared towards beginner readers, I believe there could be a bit more to explain the basics of the water cycle. The first half works, with the cloud filling with drops of water until they get heavy enough to fall as rain. The second half, with the evaporation of the puddle, doesn't work as well or clearly.
