Stan Lee as a bus driver: "what's the matter with you kids? ain't you ever seen a spaceship before?"
But I ask you to what end? Dread it, run from it, destiny arrives all the same. And now it’s here, or should I say, I am.
[the Guardians bring Thor aboard]
Peter Quill: How the hell is this dude still alive?
Drax: He is not a dude. You're a dude. This... this is a man. A handsome, muscular man.
Peter Quill: I'm muscular.
Rocket Raccoon: Who are you kidding, Quill? You're one sandwich away from fat.
Peter Quill: Yeah, right.
Drax: It's true. You have put on weight.
Peter Quill: What?
[Drax gestures at his chin and gut]
Peter Quill: Gamora, do you think I'm...
Mantis: [sensing Thor] He is anxious, angry, he feels tremendous loss and guilt.
Drax: It's like a pirate had a baby with an angel.
Peter Quill: Wow. This is a real wake-up call for me. Okay, I'm gonna get a Bowflex. I'm gonna commit. I'm gonna get some dumbbells.
Rocket Raccoon: You know you can't eat dumbbells, right?
Gamora: [touching Thor's arms] It's like his muscles are made of Chitauri metal fibers.
Peter Quill: Stop massaging his muscles.
"I finally rest. And watch the sun rise on a grateful universe. The hardest choices require the strongest wills."
-Thanos
Thanos is coming.
That's the message Doctor Strange and his assistant Wong hear from Hulk. And that's the message they pass on to Iron Man. Thanos, a greedy villain intent on capturing all six infinity stones (sources of immense power), is coming. He's been known to slaughter half the populations of various worlds and call it mercy. He's coming, and he wants the two infinity stones currently residing on Earth.
An epic battle commences, the struggle of a lifetime. Heroes unite to defeat this formidable foe… But formidable doesn't quite describe it. Unstoppable. Invincible. Indomitable. Thanos is coming, and he's more powerful than any man. Any superhero, for that matter. As heroes die and more rise up to take their place, one thought is flashing through everyone's minds—
Thanos has come.
He's come to destroy half of our world.
He's here, and we can't stop him.
Comment
Add a CommentI really hate Thanos which is what you are supposed to feel about a villain, but because he was just sitting and admiring nature in the end I took half a star. The hart breaking moment for me was when he sacrificed Gamora on Vormier. He just tossed her off the mountain without a second thought. Thanos calls it destiny and ambition, I call it ruthlessness.
Chadwick Boseman as Black Panther and the rest of the Avengers + all the warriors of Wakanda assemble to rain fire on Thanos and his followers.
Sure were a lot of things getting smashed up. Maybe that's what suppose to happen? I think there was a story in here somewhere???

It was an entertaining fantasy film with great visual effects and some humorous dialogues. The movie was long though. Thanos is a very well developed and memorable character.
One of the best Avenger's movies out there. It revolutionized how we think of movies, especially the normal hero-wins-everytime type. What I mean by this is that normally heroes will always win in the end. However, this movie is a bit different from that plot. I won't spoil it, so don't worry. It definitely changed how I look at movies now. I recommend it, even though it may be kind of sad at the end...
Infinity War is an amazing movie. All the people who tell you it's horrible, not to waste your time, it's awful, there's no character development, are just the people who haven't watched ALL the other Marvel movies, or any of them. I mean, seriously. ALL THE CHARACTERS HAVE ALREADY BEEN DEVELOPED IN THE OTHER MOVIES. SO WATCH THEM. The movie is depressing, it's true, but depressing in the best way a movie can be. Honestly one of the best MCU movies I have ever seen. Ignore the haters, they don't know what they're talking about. And make sure to watch all the previous MCU movies beforehand to get the best possible experience.
Thanos was definitely a 3D villain. The villain makes/breaks the film. He is to the Avengers what Darth Vader was to Star Wars.
This is an incredible movie! It is Marvel at it's finest. The movie manages to balance comedy, action, and emotional impact perfectly. To enhance the quality of this movie, it would be wise to watch the other Marvel movies before this. Infinity War is a great pay-off to pre-existing Marvel Fans. It is the start to an end and is one of the best superhero movies of all time. There are a few plotholes that seem big when you think about them but are easy to look past. The characters are great but are not meant to have any major development in this movie. The characters are meant to be already built up after development from previous Marvel Movies. This movie is a 9.5/10, and I would highly recommend it as a movie to watch. It is very entertaining. That is what I thought about Avengers Infinity War.
best movie ever other than endgame and captain America civil war
