Really enjoyed this dark, taut and complex plotted story. Read "The Life We Bury". Highly recommend both books.

You think the main character is noble and aggrieved; maybe he is. If that's the case, the ending to this pot-boiler will be exactly as you suspected. Recommended by Jeffrey
