A heartfelt, interesting, entertaining documentary. This film takes a fascinating look into three very different types of restaurants in the United States, and the people that make them possible. Highly recommend this film to anyone who shares the passion of food!

This movie was far better than we anticipated! All 3 story lines were very interesting and well pulled together. Take the time to watch this one night and BE INSPIRED!

What these three stories have in common are a passion for food and families creating a community around their food. Each story is different; each is compelling and really drew me into the lives of the people involved. Each faced some kind of major obstacle, and I rooted for them to overcome their obstacles. If you like food, you’ll like this documentary. If you are passionate, these stories will fire you up. The 93 minutes that this film takes are well worth your time. Please eat before you watch, or else you’ll be very hungry by the end of the film.

YOU'LL BE VERY SURPRISED... A GREAT, NOT-TO-BE MISSED DOCUMENTARY!

... this turns-out to present three very compelling and poignant stories of the families running three restaurants: one of big-city super "haute" cuisine, one of middle-America "home-cooking", and the third: a SouthWestern serving below-the-border fare; all the restaurants are different, one-to-the-other, but each of the three families must overcome great obstacles to continue doing what they believe-in and that in-which they excel.
Simply wonderful!!!

Three restaurants, three families, struggle with life's adversity and stay committed to their love of food, and dedication to community.

Simply one of the best documentaries I've watched in quite a while. Three totally different mini stories linked together by one common denominator: Passion.

The 'subtitle' on the DVD box says it best:

'It's not what you cook. It's why.'
