I read this to a 9,8,6 and 2 year old. We all loved it! I was captivated by the illustrations and word choice. My kids, who love ghosts and unexpected plots, thought it was wonderful.

This is one of our favorite authors and we realized that we knew the illustrations from Gaston!

What a fun book.

I loved this story about a ghost who just wants to help. A nice non-traditional it's-time-for-Halloween tale.

My 3-1/2 yr old twins love this sweet story about a ghost and two kids who are different and lonely finding friendship through their commonality, imagination and play!

Little Leo, such a sweet little ghost. Christian Robinson uses a limited palette of blues and dark line work in these vintage style illustrations very effectively. Sweet and charming.

Meet Leo -- look, that's him disappearing into the wall! Since Leo is a ghost, not many people can see him (you're one of the special few), so Leo spends a lot time alone. After a disastrous attempt to welcome the new family that moves into his house, Leo wanders around until he meets Jane, a bright, playful girl who mistakes him for an imaginary friend. Can Leo tell Jane the truth without scaring her away? You'll have to read to find out! Beautifully illustrated with Christian Robinson's vintage-style artwork, Leo is a wistful, whimsical, and heartwarming ghost story. Picture books newsletter September 2015.

If you liked the quirky story behind Sam and Dave Dig a Hole, you'll enjoy this picture book too. Christian Robinson does a lovely job at adding to the story; the pictures remind me of a blue and grey version of Ezra Jack Keats.
