Frank Ferrante is a 54-year-old drug addict, morbidly obese, pre-diabetic, and struggling with depression. He knows life can be better than this as he stumbles into Cafe Gratitude, a raw, organic and vegan cafe. The friends he makes there coach him for 42 days, and end up going on the ride of their lives. Setting out to help Frank lose weight and get healthy, no one anticipated the profound impact this journey would have on the lives of countless others and witness the power of change.

If the folks at Cafe Gratitude are an example of what this lifestyle does for a person, count me in!
Remarkable !! Both as an 'experiment' in human transformtion,.. and that these non-filmmakers could come up with such a great film about it !
This is an important film. Many people in this society go through life eating food with questionable value, drinking alcohol instead of water (and sometimes drugging) without ever giving our bodies a chance at something better... not mentioning the expense to our happiness.
Loved this documentary and the people from the Cafe Gratitude who introduced Frank to a new way of looking at food and life.
