A well written and very interesting take on my favorite artist. It covers his career very well, and I was surprised that the albums that spoke to me were identified as high points in a very long
productive career. I was also surprised at the well rounded approach to his career from the
amphetamine fuelled early days to his quieter later years. A good book about a great artist.

Regarding page 45, paragraph 3: Has the author never heard of The Dead Weather?, Yelawolf & Jewelz Santana?, Guns 'n' Roses?, Jimi Hendrix?, Rod Stewart?, Bryan Ferry?, The Byrds?, Dion?, The Young Rascals?, Johnny Winter?, Linda Ronstadt?, Peter, Paul and Mary?, Joan Baez?, Richie Havens?, Cat Power?, John Doe?, Mira Billote?, Charlotte Gainsbourg?, The Black Keys?, to name just SOME of the artists who "can cover his songs?"
