i saw this movie a couple of times and it shows the power of gods grace and effection toward everyone and that when we are hurting we need to ask for his help . i know this is about fathers but it can go for anyone . we should all if we are stuggling take a paper and write down a sturggle and bring it to god in prayer and he will help us with the thing we are struggling with
I saw it in the cinemas and I found that Grace Card is a film that is touching and inspiring more hearts than just mine. "Every day, we have the opportunity to rebuild relationships and heal deep wounds by extending and receiving God's grace. Never underestimate the power of God's love."
THIS IS A VERY GOOD MOVIE. RELATES TO SOCIETY TODAY.
HAS MANY VERY IMPORTANT LESSONS IN IT.
EVERYONE SHOULD SEE THIS MOVIE!
Great movie about a marriage, two sons - one lost and one with his life on the line - a friendship, a black guy and a white guy, one big church family, and two people rescued. My wife and I were in tears at the end - good tears - and it's not many movies that get that response from us. One of the best movies we've seen in a long time. Borrow it, you'll love it.
Very Good Movie...Excellent emotional acting...Great storyline of a higher faith and friendship....
A must see movie with a strong message and good storyline.
1. I will pray for you every day 2. I will ask for your forgiveness every day 3. I will forgive you whether you ask for forgiveness or not 4. I will be your friend always Where is your Grace Card? Who will you give it to?
This movie was entertaining and interesting but not one of my favorite for this year. Not too bad---good performance. I fast forwarded a lot but not all the way.
Never ever bothered to write a review but this movie warrants one. Of course it is no where near dramatic or the production level near any big blockbuster Hollywood type of film. But the message in this film is so refreshing in today's world - grace and forgiveness. Great movie if you want some real 'goodness' for your soul!
A good movie, but with too many sermons for my taste—I’m Christian but I don't like sermons, so take this into consideration, please. I think it’s interesting that, in a country deemed racist as this is, the main character in this movie doesn’t dare to utter a word considered highly racist—a word that if I dared to write here, my post would be summarily removed…
I can relate to this. my sister was killed by a drunk driver. my dad never really recovered. This kind of thing happens all around our country. you never know who is hurting and who might need your support.
Fair - I wished this film was a lot better. Good intentions with no name actors falls prey to formulaic and predictable conclusions. The ending added just a little too much closure for the film to be truly believable. Kudos to the producers to make a Christian-themed film in this secular world of ours.
Great message of grace & forgiveness - before it's too late. I got that! But what a terrible directorial effort! The pace and acting is so dull and boring that even those defining moments between people, that are supposed to generate dramatic tension, are stale and fulfilling. Instead of feeling like the church congregation at the end of the film - all excited and revived - I felt like yawning... It got so that I wanted Louis Gossett Jr., in the end, to come in and cry out: "Mayonnaise" (See: AN OFFICER AND A GENTLEMAN) - just to add a little light humour to the occasion!!!
