how the writer intertwined these lives was way better than movie "Crash" . This was about family, friends and acquaintances all caught up in a nightmare and unable to awaken. The acting was on point! The message to be sent was on…

THIS IS THE most intense movie I have ever seen. it literally feels like you're experiencing the same things as each of the characters do. it's very disturbing but in the way that these messed up things happened to the characters that you…

I think this is a important movie for everyone to see in their life, if only once. I came away disturbed enough, especially the last 10 min are quite intense and unpleasant.

Saw it in college. Thought: masterpiece. Now I f*&^in' hate it. "So, let's show people how scary drugs are. You know, the people who never take drugs."

Timeless classic. A Masterpiece of acting and artistry on the never-ending tale of drugs and it's affects on society's less fortunate. Maybe it's time to stop asking HOW this continues to happen and concentrate instead on the Why's.

Best reason to why you shouldn't get addicted to drugs...Everyone gets theirs at the ending (some worse than others). This is definitely not for the faint of heart but then again it's a movie about drug addiction.

this film is a p.o.s. I was the only one in the theater laughing out loud in the end. Did everyone just not see the ridiculousness of it? I just don't seem to like any D.A. films.

Wow. Aronofsky really delivers a viscerally wrenching stab of pathos here for his second full length film. Burstyn was incredible; mind-bending realism. One of Connelly's better roles, too. The four suffering souls synthetically filing a…
