A drama where gruelling past childhood trauma in a cult is recycled into vibrant victory. A 1930s writer, Zora Neale Hurston, once wrote, 'Ya gotta go there to know there,' and siblings Gus and Sunday Night, both victims of an unnamed…

Total disappointment for me. I did not like the protagonist nor the misleading child narrator. I have enjoyed other mysteries by Kathy Reichs but this stand alone was not a happy reading experience. Kristi & Abby Tabby

I read this in March 2018. I started to get the chills as I read the detective walking down Broadway Ave in Chicago and turning on Argyle St. As she walked west on Argyle she stopped and describe the house I grew up in. When she went…

When I started to read this novel, I was surprised that it was so different in content from Reichs' "Bones" series. I wondered if there was a co-author's name I had missed seeing on the book cover. This novel reminded me of Lee Child's…

I found Two Nights quite interesting. It did take a few chapters to become engaging but then it zoomed forward to "I can't put this book down". As much I like and always look forward to the 'Tempe Brennan' novels I'm glad Kathy Reichs…

Have never read anything by Kathy Reichs or watched a single episode of 'Bones' so I was quite surprised by a this stand-alone fast-paced thriller. A solid four stars in every regard as it didn't meander aimlessly but stuck to the…

Read this in 1 sitting. Did not read any of other story. Still can't figure out how "hotpants' was important to the story. The character Sunday Night was good, just didn't like the name. Never did get a feel for the drama that was…

Usually I am a huge fan of Kathy Reichs. However, I didn't care for the style of integrating the two plots.

Definitely a page turner. The two stories at once was not my favourite, so I mainly focused on the main plot line.

This is a stand alone book by Kathy Reichs. I love her previous books with Temperance Brennan. This was a good read but I found the main character a little intense. It will be interesting to see if she creates a new series.

Couldn’t get interested in either the main character or the plot. Not up to the author’s usual standard.

I've never read one of the Temperence Brennan books (shocking, I know). I decided to try this one out when a coworker recommended it. I really liked the strong female protagonist, as well as the numerous twists and turns. An enjoyable…

I enjoyed reading this book. Could not put it down therefore read it in one evening. I found the wordplay between the characters fast paced, entertaining and funny.

I think I've just lost a lot of respect for Kathy Reichs after reading this book & I only read it 'cos it was Kathy Reichs. I should have thought about it harder when the heroine's name was Sunday Night!! Anyway, the lady with the…

Could not finish this book. It felt like Reichs was wandering around looking for a plot.

I love Kathy Reichs and have read all her Temperance Brennan books. She's one of my favourite authors. I love her style of writing. I knew going in that this was a new character and a stand alone story. I just couldn't get into this....I…

Kathy Reichs delivers another really good book. Her plots are always complicated and leave you guessing - and this one does the same. If you like these kind of mystery/adventure books, you get used to authors trying creative twists in…

Excellent!! Have always enjoyed the Temperance books, but this book makes a great change from all those bones!! Hope there will be more books about Sunday Night, I could not put it down until I had finished.

Two Nights is a standalone from Kathy Reichs who is known for her Temperance Brennan forensic mysteries. Two Nights is much faster paced than Reichs' series. Hopefully now I will quit with the comparisons. Especially since I got bored…
