I am surprised at how much I loved this book. I always enjoy Moriarty’s storytelling with this one my favorite so far. I was/am intrigued by the hypnotherapy aspect, something I never thought much about beyond magic shows (I’m not proud to…

I listened to it on audio- it was so well done with Australian accents, I listened to it twice! Great engaging characters, suspenseful plot, colorful setting, and a satisfying ending. Another great Moriarty book!

This book was interesting, in part, because it taught me about hypnotherapy, a subject I know little about. It was also about grief and how it affects different people.

I really enjoyed listening to the audiobook. Great quality and easy to hear, which for me is key as I have a hearing loss. I did find it confusing in the beginning until I realized that the story alternated between Ellen and Saskia's…
Well to be completely honest I did not finish this book. It was kind of boring to me. That being said my book club said that it was pretty good easy read.

The Hypnotist’s Love Story was yet another great book by Liane Moriarty! I didn’t want to put it down! The characters are well thought out and likeable even when you don’t want them to be!

I quite liked this book. It does not have the complicated story lines we see in "Big Little Lies" or "Truly Madly Guilty", but there are two compelling women that tell their stories, some interesting twists along the way and in the end…

It is totally worth going back to this early novel from Liane Moriarty now an acclaimed bestselling
author . With brio and empathy she makes all the characters of this book engaging and likable even
the so called “villain” … A…

I thoroughly enjoyed this book (and did so with a sigh of relief, as I had been struggling to find books as engaging as Jodi Picoult's ever since I finished reading all of hers).
I found this one to be perceptive as we “watched” the…

I struggled to finish this one as it dragged on. I will continue to read author's books because I loved some of her others.

The author has a very unusual approach in letting the reader learn about the past of two characters (Patrick and Jack) through recalls of a stalker. This stalker is from the "I" point of view so initially the reader doesn't know who it…

This book just dragged for me. Some good lines that made you chuckle but it did not have enough to engage me and keep me reading. I finished the book more to find out what happens. I expected more with the wait list but I could have just…

Took a couple of chapters to really get into the story and know the characters; and then I read the rest in two days! I liked how the main character "over-thinks" most situations in her life (like most of us), and eventually realizes the…
Moriarty continues her run of novels which are basically romance novels with at least one serious theme. The serious theme in this one is stalking. Interestingly it's a man being stalked and the story touches on the fact that a man who…
Simply could not put the book down. Enthralled by the plot and the story. Loved the character of the hypnotist who has nothing but compassion for everyone. Stumbled on this author accidentally. a fortunate accident for me.

Really enjoyed this book, as I have all of the books by this author. I thought it was really interesting how the stalker's character was written in such a way that you actually empathized with her, rather than hated her.
