In collaboration with the KU Small Business Development Center, the Library is hosting a summer cohort for the Ice House Entrepreneurship Program. This 8-week course aims to educate and motivate participants to adopt an entrepreneurial mindset, which is valuable not only for starting businesses but also for navigating life's uncertainties. The program utilizes the book, Who Owns the Ice House? Eight Life Lessons from an Unlikely Entrepreneur, as its guide. Each session will feature video case studies of individuals who, despite unlikely circumstances, successfully applied entrepreneurial principles to overcome challenges. Participants will engage in interactive learning activities designed to enhance problem-solving skills, resilience, and creativity, all essential in today's entrepreneurial landscape. Registration is limited to 20 participants to foster group interaction and a cohesive cohort experience. The class is free but purchase of Who Owns the Ice House is recommended.
