Honor Martin Luther King, Jr.'s commitment to community service by bringing donating non-perishable food and pantry items to JustFood. Drop items off at the Ask Desk anytime the week leading up to MLK Jr. Day, or bring them to the auditorium with you on the 20th. Thanks to Kids' Action Club for their support with this drive!

Come together with family and community for a free taco bar lunch, generously donated for the third year in a row by Taco Zone, locally owned and operated.
Children of the Promised Land with Angela Bates | 1:00–2:00 PM | Auditorium
Angela Bates, Executive Director of the Nicodemus Historical Society, will give a slide presentation about Nicodemus, KS, a National Historic Site founded by African Americans during the Reconstruction Period following the Civil War. Angela will tailor her talk to be suitable for an all-ages audience and will incorporate dolls from the era and children's books into the discussion. This presentation is brought to you by Humanities Kansas.
