TUE | Jul 2, 9, 16, 23, 30 | 4pm - 7pm | Study Room 4

In collaboration with the District Court Legal Self-Help Office, weekly on Tuesday afternoons, a Legal Self-Help Staff Member will visit the public library to offer one-to-one help with:

  • Answering your questions about legal information and processes
  • Family Law and/or eviction education
  • Family Law and/or eviction resources
  • Resources and information to guide you through your court case
  • Technical assistance with finding and completing legal forms for your case type

Drop-in assistance provided on a first come, first served basis (no appointments) for those needing assistance with a civil legal issue. Individuals will be required to complete a short intake form during an initial meeting with Self-Help staff. Speaking with the Legal Self-Help Office is not legal advice and does not create an attorney-client relationship. Legal Self-Help staff cannot address criminal cases, including traffic violations. It is always best to seek the advice of a licensed attorney for legal advice and representation. No registration. Questions? Ask Marc: mveloz@lplks.org.
