At first it had the potential to be a very good book. It became too detailed and repetitive. Half way thru I skipped pages just to get it read. Would not recommend.

Not as good as her other book, found myself skimming thru some of the story as it wasn't getting anywhere. Then the ending just seemed too abrupt.

Not as good as her first book but she is still a remarkable woman. I particularly like her view on " Stockholm syndrome". That in itself makes this a good read. May she continue her positive journey thru life.

Great book to read although difficult to accept what happened to her and 18 years of it too.. Watching her interviewed made me read this book and I think it was well told and she is a remarkable individual. Certainly will think of her whenever I feel like I have had something bad happen to me. She is inspirational.Great book to read although difficult to accept what happened to her and 18 years of it too.. Not that great of a book, it seems to me all the characters had sexual hang ups and the storyline got lost in there somewhere. Would have been nice to develop the ethnic side of this story.

Hated this book. It could have been good if not for all the sex that was not only too descriptive but also, so unbelievable....smut is what it read like. Barely made it thru 60 or so pages. Not a prude, but this is not good reading.

Enjoyed reading this book immensely, savoured each and every chapter after knowing the story from previous book. Not hard to understand why she gave Will's daughter so much li way - shows how much she truly loved him. The old charachters and with new provided many laughs and touching scenarios. I really did enjoy this book. Besides the hardships of a single Mom, loved the car trip scenario and was a nice enough read.

After reading all the other positive comments and waiting patiently to finally read this book, I was disappointed. Although subject matter was good, it just lacked interest and it felt tedious to carry on reading. I gave up. Just not a book for me I guess. After reading all the other positive comments and waiting patiently to finally read this book, I was disappointed. A horrible read. It was the worst porn show in writing. Plot was so unbelievable and staged around stupid storyline of explicit and repetitive sex. I am no prude, but this book had nothing more than a bad porn flick storyline. Gathered that about 40 pages into it. Cannot believe it was a " staff pick".A horrible read. Started out with such potential and then I lost interest with the back and forth not knowing who or what was going on. Abandoned it at less than 100 pages.... Not for me.

I have to disagree with the other comments, except one, this book was horrible. I did not find it funny at all. Seems she was all over the place and not making any sense whatsoever. Too bad because if it truly was about depression and coping with it, she misses the mark. I cannot believe people would want to read this.
